S302 Ke na le Molisa

S302 Ke na le Molisa

The Lord my Shepherd Is (Isaac Watts)

6.6.8.6

1 Ke na le Molisa,

Ke tla be ke hloka'ng?

Ke ea ipetsang Jehova,

Molimo o phelang.

---

1 The Lord my shepherd is,

I shall be well supplied;

since he is mine and I am his,

what can I want beside?

2 O nkisa botaleng,

Dijong tseng mphelisang;

O nkalosa linokaneng,

Metsing a nkholisang.

---

2 He leads me to the place

where heavenly pasture grows,

where living waters gently pass,

and full salvation flows.

3 Ha ke lahlehile,

O nkhutlisetsa hae ;

O nkisa tseleng ea 'nete

Ka lerato la hae.

---

3 If e'er I go astray,

he will my soul reclaim,

and guide me in his own right way

for his most holy Name.

4 Leha ke tla feta

Khohlong e lefifi,

Ha nka ke ka tsoha tsela

E cheiloeng lifi.

---

4 While He affords His aid,

I cannot yield to fear;

Though I should walk through death's dark shade,

My Shepherd's with me there.

5
 Ke tsepa Molisa

Ea lisang ka lesoai;

Ke eena ea tla ntselisa

Ka mohau oa hae.

---

My Shepherd, Lord I trust.

He leads me by his grace.

He guides me with his rod and staff.

The Lord will guide me home.

6 Lira li ka ntlhoea,

Ke sa ja monono ;

Mohope oa khaphatseha ;

Ke lutse ka thabo.

---

In sight of all my foes

you will a table spread:

my cup with blessings overflows,

and joy exalts my head.

7 U sa tla mpaballa

Ka bophelong bona ;

'Me ke tla hlola kamehla

Ka tlung ea Morena. Amen.

---

7 The bounties of your love

shall crown my following days;

nor from your house will I remove,

nor cease to speak your praise!  Amen.
